Five years ago, I arrived in the United States, leaving everything behind in my home country and starting anew. Unable to practice my profession due to language barriers and certification requirements, I had to find a way to generate income to support my family. Always having enjoyed making desserts and cakes as a hobby, I found myself facing the need to turn this passion into a business.
I began experimenting with and refining my recipes, starting by preparing treats for my family and friends during birthdays and celebrations. Their positive reactions and encouragement became the foundation for what would soon become my entrepreneurial journey. In 2022, Capulí Cakery was born, with a mission to offer sweet and savory delights infused with a unique Peruvian touch. Additionally, we included personalized cake services where customers could materialize their imaginations into a cake.
My family and friends, who were my initial customers, played a crucial role in supporting me with their feedback and recommendations. Capulí Cakery aims to bring a taste of Peru to the community, delivering not just delicious treats but a piece of my heritage with every bite.
